Vaudeville meets Circus! Our 2009 season was a huge success. we are, under way with designs and rehearsals for 2010 which will include more circus arts including more musical numbers, more balancing, , new illusions, and a new cast member (possibly two) as Titus Kent(11) who has been the only non-performing child in the show joins the show. Up to now Titus' special needs (he can't talk and has no fine-motor control due to a mitochondrial disorder and his means of locomotion is a wheelchair) has remained home with mom. As he has grown older we have realized it is time to figure a way to get him in the show. He loves the show and the few times he has been on stage have been wonderful experiences for him. So why not build a routine around We also be doing a tribute to the Seven Little Foys, a Salute to Harry Blackstone Jr, and a couple of other special treats we can't expose right now. Book early as many dates in May, June, July, August, September and October of 2010 have already been reserved. America's First Family of Family Variety Entertainment Over 300 performances a year! The Kent Family is a real family made up of seven very talented individuals (all real family members) performing an exciting illusion-based variety show with juggling, fire-eating, bull whip tricks, fire-whip, escapes, unicyling, side-show stunts, bunnies, doves, and a trained chicken, the world's youngest mind-reader, with more and more added all the time. Magic Mouse is here too and he is a really cool 7' mouse who meets and greets and is very photogenic.He joins Max the Bunny and Sir Galehad the Sword fighting Lion. Funky Freddie is a very funny clown who meets, greets and makes balloon animals for the kids (or adults.) He joins Freckle Face the clown in our clown department. Meet Dino the well trained Dinosaur! Kent Family Draws News and Publicity TV and Newspaper Coverage at Every Event Just about every fair and festival the Kent Family Magic Circus has performed at has lured the press. It seems the angle of a real family performing together while traveling the country is a newsworthy one. At least that has been the focus of the press in their stories while becoming a big publicity push for the fair. Both the written press and television has covered the Kents in performance. For example in covering the 2009 Glenn County Fair In California the Orland Press Register when writing about the fair had the following to say," Fo 9-year-old Jordan Hilstad of Orland, the Kent Family Magic Circus Show was the highlight of the whole week. Jordan was most impressed by magician Victor Kent's ability to shoot 10-foot balls of fire from his mouth. "'That was so cool, just cool, really cool', Jordan said. The Kent Family magic Circus show has played the Glenn County Fair every year for more than a decade (factually wrong..we've played it about 5 times over the past 8 years). 'This is real fire',Kent told the assembled crowd Sunday.
